PS3 action-adventure Yakuza 5 is currently being given away for free to PlayStation Plus members. A digital copy of the game would usually set you back £32.99.

The discount was noticed at around the same time as this month’s PlayStation Plus titles were put live on PlayStation Store, but is not officially part of this month’s PS Plus line-up.

It isn’t clear whether the game has been reduced in error, or if it is deliberately being given away by SEGA ahead of next year’s Yakuza 0.

To grab it, head through to PlayStation Store.

UPDATE: Yakuza 5 has been added to the PlayStation Plus section of PlayStation Store alongside the rest of this month’s free titles. Fat Princess, one of this month’s actual PS3 freebies, however, is currently missing.

UPDATE 2: Multiple users are now reporting that the game returns to its usual £32.99 price when added to the basket, suggesting it may no longer be available for free. Did you grab it? Let us know in the comments below.
