SEGA has announced that Yakuza 4 will be released across Europe and North America in spring 2011.
The game picks up the story one year after events of Yakuza 3, taking players back to Tokyo where a man is found shot to death in the ruling territory of the Tojo Clan. A small gang which belongs to Tojo Clan try to establish what happened and their leader is soon found stabbed to death.
These events cause a heated battle between four men over money, power, status and honour. Players will experience the Japanese underworld under the guise of four characters: Kazuma and three other other key characters from the franchise.
In addition to the multi-part story, Yakuza 4 will feature enhanced battle mechanics and a fighter training system which allows players to work on their skills and become the ultimate fighter.
