Sega has released an official launch trailer for the PC version of knuckle-cracking gangster drama Yakuza 0.

Kazuma Kiryu's compelling origins story was originally released on PlayStation 4 in early 2017, and takes place during the 1980s as he rubs shoulders with some of the toughest nasties of the Japanese underworld while becomoing embroiled in a brutal real estate battle.

Concurrently, we're also treated to the exploits of the slightly unhinged Goro Majima, who spends a lot of his time trying to pay back a massive debt while managing a nightclub.

That's just a basic outline though. In Yakuza 0, you'll spend one minute flattening goons with a sofa, and the next half an hour or so addicted to Outrun at the arcades or taking part in a mental karaoke session. It's a bit like Shenmue in that respect, actually.

Yakuza 0 is out for the PC today, with Yakuza Kiwami 2 arriving on PlayStation 4 in the US and UK later this month. There's a new trailer for that game too, so tuck in.
