Microsoft has weirdly claimed that its new Microsoft Edge Game Assist feature will support a PC version of Xenoblade Chronicles X.

A Nintendo WiiU and Nintendo Switch exclusive, the futuristic Xenoblade title has never been confirmed for any platform outside of the company’s own hardware. However, Microsoft is listing the game as a supported PC title on its official website.

Navigating to the support page for Microsoft Edge Game Assist, a new feature that makes finding guides and tips “easier than ever”, the Nintendo game is part of a list of “enhanced games” for the service.

The in-game browser is an overlay that will mean that players never need to alt-tab out of their games to find tips and tricks. Instead, the feature is included as part of Xbox Game Bar, a feature the majority of PC gamers genuinely never use.

Alongside the expected supported titles like Cyberpunk 2077, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, League of Legends, Marvel Rivals, GTA V and more, Xenoblade Chronicles X is listed right at the very bottom of Microsoft’s official list.

In the two days since fans first noticed the game’s presence on the support page, Microsoft has not removed the game from its list of titles. Additionally, there’s seemingly no news from Nintendo or other parties about a potential PC port.

While PlayStation and Xbox are frequently bringing their console exclusive titles to PC, Nintendo is not. Xenoblade is a core exclusive property for the company, and there’s never been any sign of the company officially bringing their console games to PC. However, if one title was to have a full PC port, this spin-off title would be a great contender to test the water.

However, at the time of writing, this should be pinned down as a mistake by Microsoft, or perhaps the title can be picked up by Game Assist when running via an emulator such as CEMU or Yuzu. Whatever the case, we don’t expect Xenoblade Chronicles X PC anytime soon, although it would be awesome.
