Xenoblade Chronicles X, the spiritual follow-up to Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii, finally has a western release date: December 4th. Nintendo confirmed the news this afternoon, with the game having been available to Japanese Wii U players since April.

The game is being developed by Monolith Soft, long known for its Xenosaga games as well as having a hand in the development of Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the original Wii. The news was delivered as part of the same Nintendo announcement that revealed Star Fox Zero and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash would be released on the same day, November 20th.
