The “next Halo journey will begin in 2014” on Xbox One, Halo PR manager Rob Semsey has reaffirmed after the highly anticipated title failed to appear in an official Microsoft blog post featuring games for the coming year.
It seems the game wasn’t mentioned because Microsoft isn’t yet ready to title the project.
“Xbox Wire today mentioned a few 2014 titles; Halo on Xbox One not listed due to official name of the next title not announced yet,” Semsey explained. “Rest assured your next Halo journey WILL begin in 2014.”
We know very little about the upcoming Halo game besides the fact that Master Chief in possession of a mysterious data chip.
The game’s 2013 E3 Trailer was also posted on Axis Animation’s Facebook page, including the title Halo 5, but it wasn’t clear if this was an early placeholder.
