Retailers have not been given any information about Xbox One’s potential price point, GAME has revealed.
In a tweet posted this morning, GAME said that it had “not set a price for the console as no pricing information is available. We want to give nothing but 100% fact.
“This will allow us to stick to our pre-order price promise. We wouldn’t want to have to change the price on you now.”
The lack of official information hasn’t stopped other retailers from estimating Xbox One’s price, however.
Last night, UK retailer Zavvi pinned a £399.99 price on the next-gen console.
Microsoft announced Xbox One last night. The console is due to go on sale later this year.
