The Xbox One launch events in New York and LA will be live-streamed over Xbox Live, Xbox.com and Spike TV, Microsoft has revealed.

The launch will feature performances from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and Deadmau5.

“Today we invite millions of Xbox fans around the world to join us for the launch of Xbox One, beginning on Nov. 21 as we count down the final hours to the launch of Xbox One,” said Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president of Marketing and Strategy. “Xbox One will be the biggest launch in the history of Xbox and we can’t wait to celebrate with our fans.”

The action begins at 11pm Eastern Time on November 21, which is 4am GMT.

The UK will get its own launch event. Held in central London, attendees will be treated to many surprise performances, celebrity appearances and gameplay. After the live launch event, the action moves to Area One in London where fans can play Xbox One games while waiting for a special midnight store opening.
