Drivers that enable the Xbox One controller to work on PC could be released “very soon”, according to a tease by Microsoft’s Major Nelson.

Responding to a thread on NeoGAF asking for the drivers, Major Nelson teased: “Soon. Very soon.”

Microsoft revealed last August that the Xbox One controller would eventually be compatible with PCs, with functionality expected to become available this year.

Xbox 360 controllers have been compatible with PCs since they first went on sale in 2005.

Is Microsoft planning on rolling out PC support in time for E3?
