If you’re yet to give online gaming a try with your Xbox 360 then come September 20, you’ll have nine days during which the premium online service will be available free of charge. Simply log on with your Silver account between September 20 at 00:01 and September 29 at 23:59 and your account will be upgraded for the period of the promotion.
During this period of free Xbox Live Gold access there will be a number of scheduled events in which you can compete: Halo 2 Winning Weekend, Mystery Gamer, PGR3 Developer Showdown, and newcomers nights.
Be sure to keep an eye on the Xbox Live Calendar so not to miss out on the scheduled events. Perhaps it’s just a coincidence, but the Tokyo Game Show and X06 (Microsoft’s Xbox showcase event) both take place during this time period.
