Microsoft hopes to further expand its plans for original television programming on Xbox by reviving the one-time popular TV series Heroes, reports TV Line.
Microsoft is said to be discussing the possibility of reviving the American super hero drama with its creator NBC. Talks are, however, said to be in the preliminary stages.
The reboot would focus on a new cast of gifted characters, but feature cameos from some of the original cast, which included Zachary Quinto, Kristen Bell and Hayden Panettiere.
Heroes debuted in 2006 and ran for four series, with the last episode premiering in February 2010.
