Microsoft has lifted the wraps off its Xbox Games with Gold lineup for May 2018, with superb stealth-'em-up Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain easily the biggest highlight of next month's offerings.
Hideo Kojima's series swansong will be available to snap up for free on Xbox One from May 16, and will be strutting its stuff for one month until June 15. Super Mega Baseball 2 will be coming to Games with Gold on May 1, and will be joined by Xbox 360 retro hit Sega Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage on the same day. Rounding things off is Shinji Mikami's stylish actioner Vanquish on May 16.
Obviously the two Xbox 360 games will be backwards compatible with Xbox One, although it's probably worth remembering that you still have time to snag April's remaining Games with Gold lineup before this latest batch arrives on the scene. These include Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Dead Space 2, and The Witness, so you don't really have any excuse to miss out.
