Microsoft’s Phil Spencer has publicly championed the addition of cross-play between the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Fortnite.

Big Phil’s comments come in light of the announcement of mobile versions of the Epic Games-developed battle royale title, which will boast cross-play functionality with other formats. However, what won’t be possible is the chance for owners of Sony and Microsoft’s consoles to play together.

In what is probably the most succinct response ever in the history of Twitter, Spencer simply replied ‘Me 2’ when a fan told him that they’d like to see PS4 and Xbox One cross-play come to the game.

Of course, Fortnite isn’t the only title that includes cross-play with other formats besides PS4. Both Rocket League and Minecraft have both incorporated the feature in recent times, though Sony has not allowed the chance for PS4 users to join in the fun due to concerns over the safety of players.Â
