Xbox boss Phil Spencer accepts the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Xbox boss Phil Spencer has completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge after being nominated by Minecraft creator Markus Persson.

Persson also nominated Activision’s Bobby Kotick and Cliff Bleszinski.

The viral challenge aims to raise money and awareness for the ALS Association, which supports sufferers of the motor neurone disease Lou Gerhig’s. Over $15 million has been raised so far.

Completing the challenge allows you to nominate three others, with Spencer naming Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida, Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime and Valve’s Gabe Newell. The trio have just 24 hours to accept the challenge.
