Some new info regarding the Xbox 360 version of SEGA’s Virtua Fighter 5 has emerged, notably improvements to the game’s visuals.

Those that have played the PlayStation 3 version will have likely noticed some less than smooth lines, or jaggies as they are affectionately called. The good news is that the Xbox 360 version will feature a higher level of anti-aliasing which should eradicate the problem which tarnished an otherwise lovely looking game.

It also looks like the Xbox 360 version will benefit from revised AI patterns which take into account new tactics and strategies which players have been using in the Arcade and PS3 versions.

The VF5 arcade machine has recently been updated with Version C rules, tweaking character balance, but it’s not yet known if this update will be included in the Xbox 360 game – the PS3 version features the Version B rules.

Virtua Fighter 5 is scheduled for release in Q3, 2007.
