Eidos Interactive has confirmed that Tomb Raider Anniversary will be released on Xbox 360 at retail on Friday, October 26. This is a standalone game and won’t require the Tomb Raider Legend game disc.

Owners of Legend may prefer to wait for the downloadable version of Anniversary which will be released on Xbox LIVE Marketplace in November as two packs – each containing two chapters and the Mansion level. In order to play the downloadable version gamers will require a Tomb Raider Legend disc.

Tomb Raider Anniversary Themes and Picture Packs will also be released on Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

Eidos has also confirmed that Tomb Raider Anniversary for PSP will be released on October 26. A Wii version is scheduled for later this year.
