Microsoft has confirmed the Xbox LIVE Arcade release schedule following the conclusion of the Summer of Arcade promotion.
September 8 will see the release of PopCap’s Plants vs. Zombies and Dance! It’s Your Stage from dtp young entertainment. This pair will be followed on September 15 by Dreamcast classic Sonic Adventure.
Jump forward to September 29 for the start of Microsoft Game Studios’ The Game Feast, featuring innovative games from independent studios.
September 29: Hydrophobia (Dark Energy Digital Ltd/Microsoft Game Studios) – 1200 Microsoft Points
October 6: “Comic Jumper” (Twisted Pixel Games/Microsoft Game Studios) – 1200 Microsoft Points
October 13: “Pinball FX 2” (ZEN Studios/Microsoft Game Studios) – Tables purchased individually, free import from original “Pinball FX”
October 20: “Super Meat Boy” (Team Meat/Microsoft Game Studios) – Pricing TBD
There’s more coming to Xbox LIVE besides new Arcade releases. To celebrate the launch of Halo: Reach, Microsoft is offering Silver LIVE members access to Gold functionality for free from September 17 through September 20.
Then there’s a range of game add-ons, including Crackdown 2 Toy Box on September 2, followed by Mass Effect 2 Lair of the Shadow Broker and Dragon Age: Origins Witch Hunt on September 7.
