Egosoft and Koch Media have today announced that X3: Terran Conflict, the final chapter in the X trilogy, is to be released under the Deep Silver label in Q3 2008.

X3: Terran Conflict is a new, stand-alone title set in the universe of X3 and in a grand finale takes players back to the Earth’s own solar system. Take on the roles of different characters in the X universe and undertake more missions than any X game has previously offered.

“The X series has always been one of our top quality brands, and an integral part of the Deep Silver portfolio,” said Craig McNicol, Managing Director of Koch Media. “So we are very happy to be presenting the gripping next instalment of the X universe’s story in X3: Terran Conflict.”

There are no screens available at this time, but we’re expecting this latest title to look pretty impressive – check the screens of X3: Reunion to see what we mean.
