World War II first-person shooter Enemy Front has been delayed to summer 2014, the game’s official website has revealed, with a sales sheet obtained by EGM suggesting that the game could finally be set to launch in June.

The shooter had previously been expected to launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC this spring.

Enemy Front is described by City Interactive as “the first truly modern WW2 FPS” and sees players heading to the frontlines of France, Germany and Norway as American war correspondent Robert Hawkins.

The developer also promises to offer the “first open-ended WW2 game” and “fast-paced FPS action with precision sniping thrilling stealth”.

Enemy Front was announced way back in November 2011 and had originally been headed up by former Criterion developer Stuart Black. He later left the project in late 2012.
