The 55 second video offers an early look at some of the locations included in this autumn’s rally racer, and features a Ford Fiesta RS driver zipping across gravel, dirt and snow in the hope of becoming the new World Rally Champion.
A selection of new screenshots have been released, too.
“With these new trailer & screenshots, we want to show different locations and challenges that are waiting for players,” said WRC 5 game director Alain Jarniou. “From the frozen roads and snow banks of Sweden, to the narrow and sandy lines of Sardinia, or even the fast technical sections of Finland, we really want to put players into real drivers’ gloves. That’s why we worked hard to recreate the special atmosphere at each of the 13 rallies that makes the WRC so diverse.”
The release date means that WRC 5 will go head-to-head with Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo, another rally game currently in development at former WRC studio Milestone. Interested? Take a look at the new trailer below.
