Shacknews reports that Blizzard’s World of Warcraft expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, is to be released in the final quarter of 2008.
“We have said that it will be coming out this year,” said President of Blizzard Entertainment Mike Morhaime in a conference call with investors last week. “I can tell you it’s not coming in the July to September quarter.”
This means Lich King will be hitting stores in the three-month period starting October 2008.
