The Midsummer Fire Festival begins on the longest day of the year and is a time of ancient magic and tradition. Gather around great fires to pass on tales of the elemental spirits and once forgotten magic

Bonfires have been lit across Azeroth in festival camps to rekindle the spirits of its celebrants and to ward off ancient evils. These flames are guarded by flamekeepers and rumour has it that the myriad powers of the flames include cleansing and blessing. Dancing around ribbon poles is apparently a popular activity at these festivals and, as well as being great fun, all those that take part will be rewarded with a resistance to heat.

The festival also gives inhabitants the chance to take on some new quests, with quest givers to be found in the capital cities. Expect a host of seasonal rewards to be up for grabs. The Fire Festival event takes place all over Azeroth from June 21 until July 5, and traditionally ends with the sky being set alight with a spectacular firework display.
