As you might have read, to celebrate the release of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade a number of launch events are scheduled to take place across Europe. Here in the UK, WoW fans need to head down to London, Oxford Street’s HMV, where all manner of launch shenanigans are expected.
Those attending will have the opportunity to have their games signed by World of Warcraft game designer Jon LeCraft, and Blizzard Vice President of Business Development, Itzik Ben Bassat. While stocks last, there will also be the opportunity to purchase the highly sought after limited Collector’s Edition of The Burning Crusade.
Those attending in WoW costume and the first people through the doors for the launch will be eligible to register for a special in-game baby Murloc pet. Those that make the effort and turn up in costume will also have preferential treatment in relation to Collector’s Edition stock.
Launch event attendees will also be treated to demonstrations of the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game, and have the opportunity to purchase exclusive Burning Crusade T-shirts.
The launch event kicks off at 11:00pm GMT at HMV, 150 Oxford Street, London, W1D 1DJ. The game will go on sale at 12:00am.
