World War Z Season Two will bring two new PvE missions with crossplay, a horde mode, a new Zombie class, and more, as announced by Focus Home Interactive and Saber Interactive today.

The PvE experiences are set in the frigid wasteland of Moscow and in dilapidated and dangerous streets of New York. New Prestige rewards are on offer for the bravest survivors, and players will take on the ultimate challenge in the highly-requested horde mode that is coming to the game soon. Horde Mode Z will incorporate the traditional waves of enemies that set upon the humans, and if they outlive the dead, new cosmetics will be touted as their crowning glory.

As well as featuring a new special Zombie type, crossplay will be possible with Horde Mode Z, and four new weapon and character skins will form the paid DLC selection. Check out the roadmap in the image below.

World War Z is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
