Yes, this news isn’t entirely new, but for some reason it slipped under our radar late last week. After all the commotion over excessive online gaming being the cause of numerous deaths, Blizzard appear to have taken a step to combat these allegations and are now putting the responsibility firmly in the hands of the parents or guardians.
The new parental control system will give account owners the ability to set restrictions and play schedules. This means that if you want your child to only have access on weekends, for example, you can simply enter this into the system. You could also only allow access between certain hours of a day, to ensure against excessive play, or force the player to take a break at regular intervals.
