World of Tanks will soon launch for PS4, Wargaming has announced.

Having already achieved over 150 million downloads across PC, Xbox and mobile, Wargaming now has its sights set firmly on the rapidly growing PS4 audience.

World of Tanks on PS4 promises to incorporate the DualShock 4’s light bar, speaker and touchpad, and will also support Share Play and PlayStation Vita Remote Play, as well as sporting revamped controls. For a limited time PS4 gamers will also get exclusive access to two new maps.

Best of all for PS4 gamers is the ability to play for free without a PS Plus subscription, despite Xbox gamers requiring the equivalent Xbox Live Gold membership.

Those with a PS Plus membership will gain access to a host of extras including a free premium tank with exclusive camouflage, three days of Premium Account time and special discounts on other purchases.

You can sign up for the game’s beta on the World of Tanks website.
