Free-to-play action MMO World of Tanks Blitz is now available worldwide exclusively for iOS tablets and mobile devices, Wargaming has announced.
The global launch follows a soft release in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland back in May.
“With World of Tanks Blitz, we aim to bring our expertise in delivering triple-A MMOs to the competitive mobile space,†said Andrey Ryabovol, director of global operations at Wargaming. “The team succeeded in creating a quality original product that puts a fresh twist on tank combat, and it will be great to see players from all over the world get their hands on it.â€
Since the soft launch the game has been expanded to offer two player platoons, Facebook integration and improved visuals. Players also have access to more than 90 iconic German, American and Soviet tanks.
