Wolfenstein: The New Order will render at native 1080p and 60fps on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Bethesda has confirmed to GameSpot.

Confirmation follows earlier reports that the game would render at 1080p on both platforms. However, it wasn’t previously known if the game would output natively at 1080p or be upscaled from a lower resolution.

Resolutions for the current-gen versions have yet to be confirmed.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is due to launch on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC on May 23. Pre-order the game and you’ll be given access to a multiplayer beta for an upcoming Doom game.
