Wolfenstein: The New Order’s creative director has promised “minimal visual disparity” between the Xbox One and PS4 versions of MachineGames’ upcoming single-player shooter.

“Compared to the last console transition this one was a breeze,” Jens Matthies explained during a Reddit AMA. “There are always tricky technical problems when developing games, but we have some amazingly skilled brains on those problems and I’m happy to report that Wolf will run with minimal visual disparity at 60fps/1080p on all platforms.”

The New Order is one of the few games confirmed to run at 1080p/60fps across both next-gen platforms, and coincides with comments from Sony boasting that the PS4 version of Watch Dogs will offer “the best graphics on any console”.

Wolfenstein: The New Order launches on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC on May 20.
