The UK release of Wolfenstein: The New Order has been brought forward to Tuesday, May 20, Bethesda has announced. The game was previously due to launch in the UK three days later on May 23.

Reasons for bringing the game forward haven’t been revealed but it may be to give it a little more distance between highly anticipated hack-tion game Watch Dogs, which launches one week later on Tuesday, May 27.

Wolfenstein pre-order customers will also gain access to a DOOM beta, the mysterious unrevealed shooter currently in development at id Software.
