It sounds like The Witcher 3 may benefit from a marketing partnership with a platform partner, details of which will be announced at E3 in a matter of weeks.
“What we are doing in terms of marketing cooperation,” CD Projekt RED co-founder Marcin Iwinski told Eurogamer. “You’ll see that at E3.”
Last year The Witcher 3 featured during the Xbox press conference, but Iwinski wasn’t saying if this relationship has been extended.
However, any partnership won’t result in exclusive content or the delayed release of a specific version.
“We are treating all gamers equally,” Iwinski explained.
“We’ll not deliver exclusive content to any of the platforms, nor will we artificially delay release of the game on any of the platforms because somebody’s paying us money for that. It’s definitely against our values. We are not doing that.”
The Witcher 3 is set to launch in February for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
