Futuristic racing compilation WipEout Omega Collection has been equipped with PlayStation VR support via a new update this week.

Each of the three games in the bundle — WipEout HD, WipEout HD Fury, and WipEout 2048 — can now be played using Sony’s virtual reality gaming headset, and they all look rather smashing too thanks to PlayStation 4 Pro support.

In addition, the new update adds a bunch of other content including 3D audio and three new ships that have been designed from the ground-up with VR compatibility in mind. Meanwhile, those of you who haven’t yet sampled WipEout Omega Collection will be able to get a taste of the action with a new demo that’s due to launch soon.

WipEout has remained a staple PlayStation franchise since its launch in 1995, although the future of the series hasn’t looked all that rosy the shuttering of developer Sony Liverpool Studio back in summer 2012.

The last original WipEout title to see a release was WipEout 2048 for the PlayStation Vita.
