Speaking to the Associated Press, The Sims creator Will Wright has revealed he’s not offended by the explicit monsters created using his latest title, Spore.
“When you give players creative control, you have to expect they’re going to do the unexpected,” said Wright. “Some of it’s really good for what they were shooting for. It’s amazingly explicit, especially when those creations are animated. We just have to make sure those people aren’t messing up the experience for others.”
Players will be able to ban unwanted creations from inhabiting their universe, thus preventing a species of copulating couples from making a beeline for your tourist information desk.
Spore is scheduled for release for PC and Mac on September 5.
