WWO Partners has lassoed a release date for upcoming online cowboy-'em-up Wild West Online, confirming the game will launch in full via Steam on May 10.
You won't have to wait until then to play the game however, as it's currently available in Early Access. If you plump for one of these editions of the title, you'll be able to saddle up right now and also receive Steam code for the full version plus a range of bonus cosmetic items when it launches.
Wild West Online is more than just Red Dead Redemption: Pound Shop Edition. The sprawling westerner tasks players to pick between two rival factions that are scrapping it out for control of the region, before giving you the freedom to live out your cowboy fantasies. Being an online game, you'll be able to team up with other players to conquer territories and loot supplies, while soaking in a massive open-world ripe with side quests and other activities, such as farming, hunting, and mining.
In addition, Wild West Online will also cough up major PvE events that will appear at random, which reward players with yet more loot for participating. We recommend having a gander at the new trailer below to see how things are coming along.
