The Wii U version of Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is not cancelled, but Oddworld Inhabitants has admitted to running into problems working on the Nintendo console.

A message on the Oddworld Inhabitants Twitter account reads: “New ‘n’ Tasty is not cancelled on Wii U. We are currently having challenges with the platform that we are striving to overcome. Regarding Wii U, while supporting the 8GB model is a consideration, it is neither a deal-breaker nor the only challenge.”

It appears the 8GB Wii U is proving difficult to work with. A 32GB model is also available.

New ‘n’ Tasty is currently available on PS4 with Cross-Buy versions on PS3 and PS Vita also incoming. PC and Xbox One editions are also in development.
