Wii Sports Resort sales pass half a million in Japan

Following solid launch week figures of around 350,000 units, Nintendo’s Wii Sports Resort has added a further 155,000 units in week two, bringing its total to 514,000 units.

The game’s chart-topping run is expected to come to an end next week, though, with Square Enix’s Dragon Quest IX on Nintendo DS expected to sell more than a few units.
