D.C. Douglas, the actor who played Wesker in Resident Evil 5, has told horror gaming website Hell Descent that he hopes to be reprise his role in Resident Evil 6.
“Hell yeah! I know RE6 is in the works, so hopefully I’ll get a chance to audition for it…or you guys could bug Capcom into casting me in it! 😉 I’m workin’ it, baby!” said Douglas.
Douglas later clarified his comment about the sixth game being in the works, stating his understanding of the matter was based on internet rumour and speculation.
A new Resident Evil game is almost certainly coming, though any role for Wesker in a sequel could be difficult for the writers to pull off – anyone who’s played Resi 5 will understand why.
