A “well-known” EA brand will receive the social game treatment this year.
That’s according to the Wall Street Journal, which says the game will be made by EA-owned Playfish.
“Social gaming as an industry has grown pretty quickly, but it also means it has to grow up pretty quickly,” said Kristian Segerstrale, president and general manager of Playfish.
“I think we’re going to see it rapid maturing over the next 12 to 24 months.”
