Tired of waiting for news on Medievil Remastered? Well, you won't have to twiddle your thumbs much longer; Sony's confirmed it will be sharing more info on the revamped PlayStation classic very soon.

Speaking on the latest PlayStation Blogcast (via Gematsu), Sid Shuman, social media director for all things PlayStation, confirmed that more news on Medieval Remastered would drop 'in the next week or two,' courtesy of a guest appearance by Sony Interactive Entertainment bigwig, Shawn Layden.

It's about time to be fair. Medievil Remastered was announced during last year's PlayStation Experience, although we haven't heard much of anything on the game since.

The original Medievil was released on the PSOne back in 1998, making it 20-years-old and me very, very old. The game was followed by a sequel two years later, with a reimagined version of the first game, Medievil: Resurrection, arriving on PlayStation Portable in 2005.

Medievil Remastered has yet to attract a release date, but we'll keep you posted.
