Koei has today announced the March 28 release of Warriors Orochi for PC and PSP. Already available for PS2 and Xbox 360, Warriors Orochi brings together the entire casts of both Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors.

“Having received so much feedback from fans who were desperate to have the full Warriors console experience in a portable format we’re really pleased to now be able to give them exactly what they’ve wished for.” Said Will Curley, Sales Manager for KOEI Europe. “For the first time on PSP the huge battlefields from the console versions of Warriors Orochi have been recreated and crammed into a portable gaming experience along with the entire cast of characters. Warriors Orochi is a massive step forward for Warriors games on PSP and we’ve been really impressed with just what we can do on PSP.”

Curley also offered equally enthusiastic thoughts on the PC version: “Bringing our unique brand of tactical action to PC is also a very significant move for us as we look ahead to achieving much more on this platform. Warriors Orochi is just the first step as we look towards a number of new releases on PC in the coming months.”

The game features a roster of 77 playable characters and four crossover storylines which see characters from both series pitted against one another. The PSP game also features wireless support, enabling two-player cooperative play.
