Warner Bros. Interactive has announced it has opened a new Montreal studio headed by current president Martin Tremblay – the studio will be known as WB Games Montreal and intends to be home to more than 300 staff by the end of 2015.
“With its creative workforce specialised in digital media and its renowned universities, Quebec is the perfect place to develop our new products and technologies. Montreal, with its wealth of talent and highly affordable operating costs, is a wonderful place to continue to expand our growth in gaming,” said Tremblay.
Following the announcement of the new studio, Tremblay told GameFocus that WB Games Montreal will focus on developing games based on the DC Comics license.
