Fatshark has slapped a late August release date on Warhammer: Vermintide 2's first slice of downloadable content, which is called Shadows Over Bogenhafen.
To be honest there's not much to go on right now, although we do know that the DLC will feature a Big Bad known as Plague Lord Nurgle, aka Grandfather Nurgle. Somehow, I doubt he's the cuddly grandad who sits in his arm chair at weekends listening to the radio and growing spring onions.
Players can expect to be tested pretty hard during the events of Shadows Over Bogenhafen, although that's about all we know so far.
The DLC will roll out for PC and Xbox One on August 28. Presumably a PlayStation 4 version will arrive at some point, although Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has yet to launch for Sony's platform.
