Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr developer Neocore Games has promised the upcoming action-RPG will come out swinging in the visual department, boasting 4K resolution support on PlayStation 4 Pro.

Aside from flexing its impressive technical muscle in terms of looks, Inquisitor will give you the option of selecting what performance you want in terms of frame rate and resolution. Performance Mode will prioritise the former, offering a silky smooth 60fps with a reduced 1080p resolution, while the latter plumps for shiny 4K at a lower frame rate.

'That’s the aim, that’s definitely the aim,' David Martha, PR & Marketing Manager for Neocore, told PST. 'Usually what we do is that we give players the freedom to choose either if they want higher frame rate or higher resolution or they want a more balanced experience.'

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr is pencilled in for release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on June 5.
