Bigben Interactive and Neocore have announced a slight delay for Warhamamer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr, with the game now scheduled to hit PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in early June. The action-RPG was originally pencilled in for release on May 11.

The official statement says that developer Neocore needs a bit of extra time to ensure the team can deliver the 'best gaming experience possible,' and considering the delay is only a few weeks, it doesn't sound like there's any major stumbling blocks to overcome.

Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr has been in the works for three years now, and has players hopping into the role of an inquisitor based in the Caligari Sector, where Chaos Daemons, mutants, and heretics run rampant. Set in a persistent universe, you're tasked with tackling various objectives either solo cooperatively as one of three unqiue classes, battling enemies in tactical scraps complemented by fully destructible environments.

As a result of the delay, Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr will now be unleashed in stores on June 5.
