Warcraft, the movie based on Blizzard’s hit World of Warcraft MMO, will now be released in the US on March 11, 2016 – three months later than the recently announced December 18, 2015 opening, Legendary Pictures has announced.
The movement makes sense given Disney’s first Star Wars movie is now scheduled to arrive on December 18, 2015.
Production on the Duncan Jones directed Warcraft movie is expected to begin in January. Earlier this year it was reported that the leading roles had been offered to Colin Farrell and Paula Patton, but neither had officially signed on.
