Microsoft has announced that Viva Piñata will be released on PC on November 16, the same day as the new Xbox 360 party-game compilation Viva Piñata Party Animals.

The Games for Windows title will work under XP or Vista and will also feature 1000 Gamerpoints and a bunch of Achievements to unlock.

The Xbox 360 game was a critical success, but sadly was unable to reach the number of gamers it deserved. With the PC version Microsoft hopes an all-new audience will be won over by the deceptively deep and cute simulation.
