Dante’s Inferno executive producer Jonathan Knight has revealed he would love the opportunity to create a Dante’s Inferno sequel, but must first earn the right to do so.

Asked about a sequel by G4’s The Feed, specifically how the team at Visceral would continue the story beyond Act 1: Inferno, Knight said: “That is a problem I hope to have to solve by earning the right to do a follow up.”

Knight admitted that should the game be a success, business dictates that a sequel must follow. However, he wouldn’t reveal if the studio has any ideas for a sequel.

“That’s a problem I’d like to have and if we’re lucky enough to solve it, we’ll go about solving it,” he said.

Dante’s Inferno is scheduled for release on February 5, 2010 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PSP.
