Virtua Tennis 3 also coming to PSP and PC

The next instalment in SEGA’s tennis franchise is scheduled for release in spring 2007, and will be the first time the series has had a simultaneous multi-platform release. SEGA has also revealed the line-up of tennis superstars who will be featured in the game. Amelie Mauresmo heads up the roster of top women players, and is joined by Maria Sharapova, Venus Williams, Martina Hingis, Nicole Vaidisova, Lindsay Davenport and Slovakian Daniela Hantuchova.

From the men’s game comes world number one Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andy Roddick, Tim Henman, Lleyton Hewitt, James Blake, Mario Ancic, Gael Monfils, Taylor Dent, David Nalbandian, Sebastien Grosjean, Juan Carlos Ferrero, and Tommy Haas. SEGA has also revealed that the game will feature five-set matches, and a host of new mini and multiplayer games.

Virtua Tennis 3 is scheduled for release on PS3, X360, PSP and PC in spring 2007.
