According to the Linkedin profile of Vince Zampella, he is now the former CEO and studio head of Infinity Ward. This confirms reports from this morning suggesting Zampella, along with co-founder Jason West, had parted ways with the Modern Warfare developer.
Zampella’s Linkedin profile now lists Infinity Ward under his past employment, with his current employment status changed to TBD.
This morning Activision revealed it was “concluding an internal human resources inquiry into breaches of contract and insubordination by two senior employees at Infinity Ward”.
It’s now believed these senior employees are Zampella and West.
Exactly what happened to cause the departures is yet to be disclosed.
