Velvet Assassin is still on course for release in 2008 despite reports to the contrary, publisher Gamecock has told VideoGamer.com.
Recent reports had suggested that the upcoming stealth-based PC and Xbox 360 World War II game had slipped from October 2008 to early 2009.
However, when contacted for clarification by VideoGamer.com this morning, a representative from GameCock told us that the game’s release date was “inconclusive” and that “as far as I’m aware it is still this year”.
